Jon Waterman is the founder of Ad.net where he leads the company’s corporate operations and strategic planning. A pioneer in paid search who founded his first company in 1998, Jon brings his internet advertising expertise and vision to Ad.net’s product development. Under his direction, Ad.net has grown significantly from an innovative leader in search advertising to a multi-channel solution for display, video and native advertising.
Jon has presented at industry trade shows and his insight has been featured in online marketing publications. Jon is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and has been recognized by the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University California, Santa Barbara.
Ray leads product development efforts for Ad.net as the company’s CTO and is responsible for the architecture and design of Ad.net’s platform. Ray brings over 13 years experience in online advertising and has worked at Datapop, Adconion Media Group, and Yahoo!. At Datapop, he was a founding engineer and key architect of the advertising platform, developing taxonomy and semantic rules to create custom ads. Ray’s work at Adconion, as Director of Engineering, was focused on the development of real-time analytic systems and the advertising management platform. Ray earned a BS in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a BS in Biochemistry from UCLA.
Tony is the CIO for Ad.net, and is responsible for managing all the technical operations of the Ad.net platform and infrastructure. At Ad.net, he has played a key role in developing and refining meta-search ad-serving technology. Tony has more than 10 years of technology experience and has previously held senior-level positions at Internet companies including Scour.net, which was sold to Centerspan Communications (an Intel company) and Redswoosh, which was acquired by Akamai Technologies. Tony has been an original team member of multiple technology startups and has developed innovative ways to deliver content to consumers via unique data-sharing technology. Tony attended UCLA.
Caryn manages all of the financial matters of the company, including accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and financial planning. In addition, she oversees the human resources function at Ad.net. Caryn has over 10 years of financial management experience, from involvement in major acquisitions by a public company to overseeing day-to-day accounting and financial tasks. She brings significant experience in internet advertising to her role at Ad.net. Caryn graduated from UCLA in 2000 with a BA degree.
Scott oversees the performance and growth of advertiser campaigns through managed optimization, utilization of automated, SmartPricing technology, and media buying and ad operations. He leads the Account Management and Media Buying teams whose goals are to build long-term advertiser relationships and maximize advertiser campaign ROI. Scott has more than 15 years of experience and a track record of success in online advertising. Prior to working in internet advertising, Scott was Regional Manager of Account Management for AT&T. Scott earned a BA degree in English Literature from Chapman University.
Brad is responsible for the development, growth and performance of the display and video advertising channels at Ad.net. He brings over seven years of digital advertising experience building advertising networks and advertising technology solutions targeting Fortune 500 brands and performance marketers. Prior to joining Ad.net, Brad worked at Adconion Media Group and Adknowledge, where he led business development efforts to build the advertiser and publisher networks. He also spent three years at uSamp, building out domestic and international relationships to grow the company’s market research panels. Brad graduated from Marquette University and earned a J.D. and M.B.A from Pepperdine University.
Todd runs the sales team at Ad.net and is responsible for new client acquisition and revenue. He brings 16+ years of experience in digital marketing and has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining Ad.net, Todd founded iMarket Services (IMS) and The Laugh Button, a boutique digital agency and comedy destination site whose clients included Comedy Central, HBO, Nickelodeon, Sierra Mist and NBC Universal. Prior to IMS Todd started the Publishing team at TrafficMarketPlace the first performance based online ad network. Todd graduated from University of Arizona Cum Laude with a Triple Major in Entrepreneurship, Philosophy and Political Science and received an M.B.A in Leadership and Management from Pepperdine University.
